Our Beliefs

As a congregation of the United Methodist Church, Wesley UMC is guided by the teachings of Scripture, the historic Christian faith, and the principles outlined in The Book of Discipline. Our beliefs center on God’s grace, the call to discipleship, and the mission to transform the world through love and service.

Salvation Through Grace
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, available to all through faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to nurture this faith and empower believers to grow in holiness.

Social Responsibility
As disciples of Christ, we are called to love our neighbors, seek justice, and address systemic inequities. Our faith compels us to act compassionately in a broken world. We affirm that all people are of sacred worth, and we support civil rights protections for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
